Our Mission

We’re thrilled to introduce you to the Cash family, and look forward to supporting them this quarter in their adoption journey. A note from Jessica about their story —

"Our little crew includes my husband Logan, our sweet and adventurous son Hezekiah (who just turned 4 and proudly says he wants to be a hero when he grows up), and our newest little ray of sunshine, Sunny Sammy. We also have a very spoiled, fun-loving pup named Mango.

Our journey to foster care has been one marked by prayer, heartache, and God’s perfect timing. Logan works with Prison Fellowship Ministries, and his own childhood was filled with hardship, neglect, and abuse. Those experiences shaped both of our hearts for vulnerable children. I still remember sitting together, talking about the future, and saying, "Lord, I know I may not be able to handle a house full of kids" (with a laugh) "but if I could help just one avoid the heartache so many experience, I would do it right now. No hesitation."

Fast forward a few years, Hezekiah was born, filling our home with joy and energy. After his birth, we learned I had a rare uterine condition, and since then, we've experienced the grief of a couple miscarriages. But in the midst of that heartbreak, a new door opened.

Within days of our most recent miscarriage, a family from our church—who had been fostering sweet little Sammy—shared that they were being called to serve overseas in Lithuania. They asked if we would consider stepping in as Sammy’s next home. Without hesitation, we said yes.

Sammy, now 3, is truly a ray of sunshine. We lovingly call her “Sunny Sammy.”  She and Hezekiah, just 8 months apart, have become the best of friends. Their favorite things include playing in the sprinkler, splashing in the pool, and chasing Mango around the yard.

We believe God’s timing is always perfect, even when life feels unpredictable. We’re here to love, support, and be exactly what Sammy needs, for as long as she needs us. One child, one life, one story at a time — let’s do this."
