Our Mission

A Family for Every Child

We long for the day when there is a loving family for every child. When you purchase from Everlee Gray, you directly support an adoptive and/or foster family.

We’re excited to introduce you to the Ludlam family, and look forward to supporting them this quarter in their adoption journey. A note from Barbara about their story —

“We’ve been married for just over 6 years and have a 4 year old little girl
+ a yellow lab. We spend most of our time with our friends & family, playing outside, & at our church.
I’ve (Barb) wanted to adopt for as long as I can remember. Even as a teenager, I believed so deeply that every child deserves a loving home and that every birth mother deserves a safe place for her child. When Zach and I got married, we knew we would adopt but we weren’t sure when or where or how. We began the process just after our daughter's second birthday. That was nearly 3 years ago.
The adoption process has proven to be long and challenging for us, especially because Zach lost his job out of the blue in the beginning or 2024 and we had to start a lot of documents all over from the beginning. It felt like every time we made progress, something got in our way. We have fought hard to get to where we are now — with a completed home study and waiting for placement.

The total cost will be upwards of $35,000. We knew we would need to
fundraise, and we were scared & hesitant about it. The further we get into this process, the more we hear from others “we wanted to adopt, but we couldn’t afford it.” It always makes me think “what a sad reason to prevent a child from receiving a home.” We serve a God who is so beyond finances. A Savior who heals the sick and gives sight to the
blind. What is money to stop us from pursuing what He has in store?
We believe with confidence that adoption is a foundational piece of the gospel and that we ourselves were adopted into the kingdom of God. So, we will not be quiet about what God has done already and will continue to do through our adoption story."
